Brain Drain Math Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026. This policy covers Brain Drain Math, published by KTP and Data, Inc. (KTP Games).
The short version
Brain Drain Math does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and the app makes no network requests of its own. Everything a child does in the app stays on the device.
This policy is written to be read by a parent, not a lawyer.
Who we are
KTP and Data, Inc. (KTP Games) publishes Brain Drain Math. If you have a question about this policy, contact us at support@ktpdata.com.
What the app stores, and where
The app stores the following on your device only:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| A first name and birth year you enter for each child | Tells children apart on the player picker and sets the difficulty and reading level of the questions |
| Game progress, levels and scores | So a child can pick up where they left off |
| Mastery and accuracy records | Powers the progress reports |
| Gold and unlocked characters in Maze Runner | Part of that game |
| Accessibility preferences | Remembers your colorblind display, sound, and Space Station settings |
None of it is transmitted anywhere. It is not backed up to our servers, because we do not operate any. If the app is deleted, this data is deleted with it.
The name can be anything you like — a nickname works just as well. Beyond what is in the table, the app does not ask for, and has no way to record, an email address, photograph, location, contacts, or a date of birth beyond the birth year used to pick a difficulty level.
What we do not do
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not track users, and we do not allow anyone else to.
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not add analytics or crash-reporting services to the app.
- We do not use third-party software development kits.
- We do not sell, share, or disclose data, because we do not have any.
- We do not build advertising profiles, and we never will for a children's app.
Children
This app is intended for children and is designed accordingly. Because we collect no personal information at all, there is nothing for us to disclose, share, or delete on request.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
Parents stay in control on the device too: removing a child's profile sits behind a parental gate, and doing so permanently deletes that child's progress from the device.
Subscriptions and payments
Full access is available as an auto-renewing subscription. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see, receive, or store your name, payment-card details, or billing address — Apple tells the app only whether an active subscription exists for the Apple Account signed in on the device.
Apple's handling of purchase information is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
A parental gate stands in front of the paywall, so a child cannot reach a purchase unaided.
Diagnostic logging
The app writes diagnostic messages to the device's own system log to help with troubleshooting. These stay on the device, are not transmitted to us, and any value that could identify a player is marked private so it is redacted. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports, which we use only to fix bugs.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, and delete personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to request. You can erase a single child's data with the in-app removal control, or erase everything by deleting the app from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, we will say so here clearly and in the App Store privacy label before it ships.
